One of the unique things about BrickSeek is the amazing close-knit community that has grown and flourished here. Our members reach out to us all the time with stories about how BrickSeek allows them to save their dollars, which then has empowered them to make real life changes, both big and small –to stay at home with the kids, to give up a second job, to afford a nice vacation, to afford expanding their families!

I am one of these BrickSeek stories! I first stumbled across BrickSeek many years ago and used it when I needed to buy something specific like a birthday toy or a new coffee maker.
A few years ago, I wanted to start sending my two kids to pre-school; and to pay for it, I either needed to get a part-time job or trim my expenses. I turned to BrickSeek and started using it daily as a tool to find the best deals not only on birthday gifts and coffee makers, but for my everyday essentials like diapers and laundry detergent. I tracked my savings meticulously, and sure enough – dollar by dollar – I banked enough to pay for pre-school.
I didn’t have to make any huge lifestyle changes or give up any fun stuff. I just took the money I wasn’t having to spend on diapers and spent it instead on tuition.

We want to help you achieve your own BrickSeek story! Check our blog often for current deals, tips and advice for getting the most out of your membership, product reviews and comparisons, easy ways to save, and much more. Little by little, the savings can add up to big changes!

I First Heard about BS From You Tuber ‘the den of tools ‘ And mostly used it As a Inventory checker, Then last year There was some changes, I went from inventory checker to Bargain hunter ,and never looked back !!
I have gotten so many Great and unbelievable deals , (Also on things I didn’t think I needed LOL) At least one major find a week Thanks,
One Thing I would like to see if possible …. for some reason to check walmart inventory requires a upc or sku but walmart only has there particular walmart number posted when looking at an item , Unless I am missing something ? I have to try an get one elsewhere online then go to BS checker .
other wise BS is my go to !!!! I dropped slick deals You guys have ” THE RIGHT STUFF” .
Easy right to the point menus , simple text , simple to navigate pages Yes all good stuff
This is awesome! I love to hear that you’ve grown into a full-on deal chaser using BrickSeek!
Regarding the Inventory Checker requiring a UPC or SKU — just to clarify, are you looking at an item online at Walmart.com and wanting to figure out the item’s SKU from there? If so, check out this article in our Help Center for a walk-thru of how to find the item’s SKU directly from its online product page. If that’s not exactly what you were referencing, feel free to email our Customer Support team at [email protected], and they can definitely help you out.
We’re so glad to have you here! 🙂
Yes! Great Tip ! Thanks, your the best!
Hello! New to brickseek and seeking some help! Lol!….or a brick 😳. I have been searching for deals….for days…anything at all just to get the satisfaction that it truly works. Searched hundreds of products on walmart, home depot, target, lowes. Not a single product was ever actually in any store within a 30 mile radius of me even though it said there was a certain number in stock. I know that brickseek isn’t an inventory checker which is why i always check the store. I really want this to work so what am i doing wrong? Thank you!

I have had the same experience. Went for an item last week and the count was 150… I couldn’t find any of them. I have never found anything from the brickseek site!
Hi Annamaria! Did you happen to have a store employee check in the back storage room for your item? With counts that high, it is likely there were cases stored in the back.
I want to love Brickseek and sign up for the monthly subscription, but every time I go to Walmart they tell me they don’t have whats on here when its been both on here and the Walmart website. And when they do have the item the price is not checking out at the same price. Ive struck out 4 seperate times now..but im still holding on.
Hi! Definitely check out this Help Center article to learn why an item might be ringing up a different price in the store than what you saw here on BrickSeek. We just posted a great blog article about this exact scenario and why it is so important to check the UPC of every product. You can read all about it here!
It’s never a given and you have to accept it. That bring said, I’ve done really well with inventory being in stock often. And be aware sometimes they have it and either don’t realize it, don’t take the time or make the effort to look due to being overworked and behind or just unhappy there. Maybe they want it for family etc. I ask for a Dept manager and ask them to personally see and furnish upc and sku/item number. The electronic stuff is sometimes locked in a cabinet and clerk isn’t aware. I go there and have them open the locked cabinets where that stuff is stored
With the help of BrickSeek, I had located a highly sought out arcade cabinet (Arcade1up-Mortal Kombat), which was exclusively sold at Walmart. However, when I had arrived to the nearest store that was said to carry this cabinet, they didn’t have it displayed, price-labeled or in their databases anywhere in the store. Not giving up, I interrogated employees in the tech Dept, stocking Dept, and later management and it worked! They were finally able to locate and sell me the last machine from their loading dock. I don’t know how you guys do it at BrickSeek but you had inventory data that the store didn’t even know existed. Hope this gives confidence to the readers that the information provided here is legitimate and if a personnel at the store says otherwise, don’t don’t give up asking, ask other employees, ask a store manager and maybe throw a fake fit. Trusting BrickSeek, I politely did all of the above and found what I wanted in the end.
We LOVE to hear these kinds of success stories, Patrick! Deal hunting can be challenging sometimes, but trusting the information you had from BrickSeek and being persistent in your search definitely paid off for you! We are so happy to have been a part in helping you score such a great deal, and I know that it won’t be the last one for you. Thank you so much for being here and for sharing your success! 🙂
Spent about 2 hours on BS last night for the first time scouring for deals–went to Walmart to buy my goodies and not one of the 10 items I went for was there, even though BS tells me there’s multiples in stock–what’s up with that?
Hi There! I’m so glad to hear that you’ve found BrickSeek and are already using us to look for deals around you! 🙂
Regarding the inaccuracy you have encountered with inventory at the store level — BrickSeek gets its inventory information directly from the retailer; we only report back what the retailer is reporting to us. Inventory information provided via our Inventory Checkers is live and real-time. We do not change or alter this information in any way. If you take the item barcode that BrickSeek provides and have a store employee scan the barcode with their handheld scanner, their scanner will report that they have the same number of items on hand as was reported on BrickSeek, at the same price as was reported on BrickSeek.
I definitely understand the frustration of not being able to locate an item once you arrive at the store, as I’ve experienced it myself many times. There are many reasons an item cannot be found, even though the retailer’s system says that it should be there. Many of the deals you see on BrickSeek are clearance items and may have been moved from their original spot on the store shelf. They could be in a dedicated clearance aisle or on an end cap. If it is an electronics item, it could be locked in one of the cages or may have been moved into the back storage room. The item could have been damaged and is not sellable but still being reported as present inventory. The item could have been stolen from the store. The item could have been misplaced somewhere else in the store by another customer.
Definitely feel free to reach out to our Customer Support Team at [email protected] with any questions you might have about how to best utilize BrickSeek to find the great deals you see here. We are happy to have you here and happy to help!
