The Walmart Black Friday ad is always highly anticipated each year, due to their steep discounts and amazing doorbuster deals. In recent years, Walmart has been pushing more of its Black Friday deals online; and this year will be their biggest online offering to date, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Walmart has joined other brick-and-mortar retailers like Target and Best Buy and announced that their stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. All Walmart stores will be open the next day on Black Friday; and just like in years past, you can expect to see great deals at that time. But this year, Walmart is also holding three separate “Black Friday Deals for Days” events in the weeks leading up to the actual Black Friday holiday, offering almost a full month of amazing deals and discounts.
The first Black Friday Deals for Days sale begins online at Walmart.com on November 4 at 7PM EST. In-store deals will become available a few days later on November 7, starting at 5AM local time. According to Walmart’s announcement, “This reinvented Black Friday experience will offer customers the retailer’s best prices of the season on the most sought-after items on 2020 holiday wish lists during three separate savings events across the month of November. Each savings event will begin online at Walmart.com and continue in Walmart stores. And new this year, customers will have the option to pick up their online Black Friday order through Walmart’s contact-free curbside pickup service.”
The second Black Friday Deals for Days event starts online at Walmart.com at 7PM EST on November 11. Additional online deals will be introduced on November 14 at midnight EST, with new in-store deals dropping at 5AM local time.
The third event begins online on November 25 at 7PM EST. It will then merge into Walmart’s official Black Friday offerings on the holiday itself, November 27. Online deals will become available at midnight EST and in-store at 5AM local time. (We’re still waiting to get a sneak peek at the ad for this third Black Friday event.)
So far, we’ve seen some great deals, including 50% off Instant Pots, $99 AirPods (Gen 2), and a 55” TCL television for only $148!
Make sure to keep up with all of the Black Friday deals this holiday season by bookmarking out Black Friday page and checking it often for the latest best deals!
A few months ago, we introduced our Small Business Partnership Program and began collaborating with online businesses across the country in an effort to bring new deal content to you, as well as to help drive traffic to some fellow online companies.
Trendee Boutique offers on-trend homeware, jewelry, accessories, kids/ baby and health/ fitness items for everyone in your family. They are a small, family-run business whose goal is to constantly curate handy, nifty, cute, make-life-easier products at an affordable price. If you can save instead of splurging, without compromising on quality, then why not?! As a family-owned business and knowing that so many are struggling right now due to the pandemic, Trendee donates a portion of all their sales to Feeding America. Their hope is that this small gesture on their part helps any family that needs it and inspires others to pay it forward, as well.
At Trendee, when we are curating items to add to our store, we are always thinking about style, functionality, and versatility.
With the uncertainty facing all of us due to the pandemic, we know that it is more important now than ever for families to save. As a small family-owned business, we know what it means to save, and we know what it means to have every purchase go a long way.
When we are curating items for our shop, we often find ourselves asking, “Can I use this item in more than one way, or can I style this item more than one way?” If the answer is yes, then we add the item to our online boutique so we can provide it to our customers.
For example, the diaper bags we offer can also be used as a backpack for toddlers, a travel backpack, a work laptop bag, and even a camera bag! We have had our customers tell us no matter how they use it, they love it because of the versatility and functionality that it offers. Plus it’s waterproof and UV resistant, so it won’t fade over time and helps ensure the longevity of the bag!
The jewelry pieces, accessories, and t-shirts that we offer are affordable and versatile enough to style in so many different ways. You can stack our jewelry pieces if you want to dress up an outfit for date night or wear one of the pieces on its own for a more casual look. Our graphic tees are comfy enough to lounge around in at home but also great to pair with jeans, a cute pair of boots, and some accessories for a night out on the town.
As a family-owned and operated small business, we are committed to bringing you the best offer possible; and by working with BrickSeek, we are able to do that.
In addition to our current Fall Sale which already offers 15-20% off sitewide, BrickSeek members can use the code BRICKSEEK to get an additional 40% off your total purchase price through November 4! Shipping is free on orders over $49.

One of the most anticipated online shopping events of the year is Amazon Prime Day, and it usually falls around the middle of July. This year, however, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Day has been postponed for months. But great news! Prime Day will begin tonight, October 13 at 12am PT, and will run through October 14.
On Prime Day, you can take advantage of thousands of deals, from kitchen appliances to diapers to electronics. As the name suggests, many of the best deals on Prime Day are reserved for Prime members. If you’ve got an existing Prime membership, you’re already set to take full advantage of this sale event, including Lightning Deals, which offer the best discounts. If you’re not a Prime member yet, you can sign up today for a 30-day free trial of Prime, which at this point will overlap with Prime Day, and allow you full access to all deals.
Make sure to bookmark the Amazon Deal Page, and check it frequently on Prime Day so that you don’t miss any of the great ways to save.
And don’t forget to look for competing sales at other major retailers on Prime Day, as well. Stores like Walmart and Target will offer big discounts of their own in an attempt to bring your business their way. Check out our blog post here to find out how you can sometimes save even more by shopping at one of these competitors!

September is Baby Safety Month, and that means that Target’s ever popular Car Seat Trade-in Event is back!
Target has once again partnered with Waste Management to bring this event to almost all of their 1800+ locations. The Car Seat Trade In Event begins on September 13th and runs through the 26th. Target will accept and recycle all types of car seats, including infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats and car seats that are expired or damaged. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Waste Management.
Guests who trade in their old car seats will receive a 20% off coupon toward a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear. Select baby home gear includes play yards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers. Coupons can be applied to both in-store and online purchases and are valid through October 3, 2020.
This year, there is a new requirement to participate in the Car Seat Trade-In Event. Guests must be enrolled in Target Circle to participate in the trade-in and receive a coupon. Scan sheets will be placed on car seat drop-off boxes for guests to scan from their mobile device to add the 20% coupon into their Circle. Guests will only be able to scan one coupon per Circle account, and the coupon can be combined with other item offers.
Even if you don’t need a coupon for baby gear, this is a great way to recycle your old seats! Do you plan to trade in a seat this year? What will you use your 20% off coupon on? Let us know in the comments below!
We recently partnered up with SheFinds (@shefinds) to highlight three easy ways to save on your BTS shopping this school year! Check out these great money saving tips in our latest video collab!
As schools across the nation gear up to reopen both physically and virtually, parents are faced with the challenge of finding good back-to-school deals and savings in the midst of a global pandemic. There are several ways to save on everything back-to-school this year, whether your little ones will be learning from home or from the classroom.
General School Supplies Pencils, pens, markers, crayons, erasers, notebooks, glue, scissors, staplers, binders, and backpacks. It’s all going to go on sale at some point this month. Look for steep discounts on the essentials, such as crayons for as low as a quarter a box, pencils for a penny, or glue for less than ten cents. Check out the first page of your local sales circulars to find the best markdowns, and don’t forget that school supplies are something that you will oftentimes find cheaper at an office supply store, rather than a big box retailer.
For students that will be going back to school virtually, there are still plenty of savings to be found on online learning resources, too!
Laptops Although it is not the absolute best time of year to buy a laptop (we usually see the best deals around the holidays and shortly thereafter), back-to-school season is the second best time to buy a laptop if you need one. The big box stores, online retailers like Amazon and B&H Photo, as well as the brands themselves like Dell and HP, will offer decent savings on laptops, usually round 10% and sometimes even more. Don’t forget to check your local online yard sale groups, as well as sites like Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp, to find great deals on used laptops, desktops, and tablets right in your local area!
Epic! Epic! is the #1 children’s digital library for kids 12 and under, offering access to over 35,000 books for kids, plus learning videos, reading quizzes and more. Doodle Pants crafts adorable clothing for babies and toddlers and is one of the first companies we partnered with for the Program. Check out some of their super cute leggings and 3D hoodies, and keep reading to find out how you can save 35% off your order!
At Doodle Pants, every product is designed with your family in mind. We strive to offer products that are both functional and fun, providing practical use as everyday outfits, while also incorporating an imaginative experience for the young wearer.
Especially during these times, when parents are finding themselves at home not sure how to best foster their children’s learning outside of a traditional educational environment, Doodle Pants 3D hoodies offer a great segue into learning about and experiencing a variety of animals and creatures. Not only will our hoodies keep the kiddos warm and cozy, they can be incorporated into themed lessons or can help spark a child’s interest in learning about wildlife.
What’s also great about our products and hoodies is their longevity and versatility. They can be used for everyday wear and will undoubtedly attract attention out in public, but they can also be saved or used for Halloween time when you’re looking for a unique, easy costume. Our 3D hoodies let the wearer dress up as their favorite creature or animal — 3D ears, tails, horns and all!
We realize that this is a time of financial uncertainty for a lot of families, and we are committed to making our products available to everyone by providing a discount code through BrickSeek (BRICKSEEK35 for 35% off), as well as hosting weekly sales on our website on our most popular product sets.

More than half of all Americans have purchased something from Amazon.com. Most of us are familiar with the more common ways to save when shopping online there, such as taking advantage of Lightning Deals or clipping a digital product coupon. But a surprising number of people are unaware of the super easy way to save even more — up to 70%! — at the retail giant.
Amazon Warehouse Deals are the secret to those huge savings. They are also oftentimes referred to as “Like New” deals and “Open Box” deals.
Here at BrickSeek, we’ve recently started rounding up the best Amazon Warehouse Deals and posting them in our Forums, as well as on the BrickSeek Deal Group Facebook page. We post these deals to our Premium/Extreme Forums first and then to the Open (Free) Forums and our Facebook Deal Group page a day later:
When we post Amazon Warehouse Deals to our Facebook page, we tag them with the “Open-Box” topic tag. On the Facebook mobile app, you can look for the ‘Topics’ button underneath the name of the group:
On desktop, look for the ‘Popular Topics’ area to the right of the page:
To access the latest Amazon Warehouse Deals posts, click the “Open-Box” topic tag:
To order an Amazon Warehouse Deal, click on the link we provide:
You will be redirected to the item’s BrickSeek Snapshot page. Scroll down to the Online Offers area, and click on the Amazon “Used” button:
You will then be redirected to Amazon.com, where you can review all available Warehouse Deals for the item, as well as the condition details for each offering:
All Warehouse Deal items go through a quality check before being listed for sale. Amazon provides detailed descriptions of each of their condition levels. The product listing itself will usually give specific details about why the item was rated a particular condition. You can view Amazon Warehouse Product Condition Definitions FAQs here:
It’s important to note that “Open Box” deals are not necessarily customer returns. Something as minor as a tiny dent to the corner of a box could render an item eligible to be listed as a Warehouse Deal.
In my own personal experience, I have never once received a damaged or non-functioning “Open Box” item. I usually can’t figure out why the item was listed as “Open Box” to begin with, since it almost always turns out to be unopened with no signs of damage to the packaging or the item itself.
You can shop all available Amazon Warehouse Deals by category here.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner; and between expensive flowers, gifts, and dinners out, it can drain your wallet. Follow these four tips to save yourself a ton of money, while still spoiling your Valentine!
1. Celebrate at Home
Save some serious cash and avoid the crowds and long restaurant lines by celebrating Valentines Day at home. Spend time with your Valentine and cook together. A simple pasta dish can cost over $10 in a restaurant but can be made for pennies on the dollar at home. Save on champagne or other liquor by buying wholesale at Sam’s Club, where you don’t need a membership to buy cheap alcohol! A simple and inexpensive dessert like sorbet can round out your meal, while saving you a ton of money.
2. Consider a Handmade Valentine’s Gift
It’s the thought that counts, right?! Sometimes a gift that took a lot of thought to put together can mean more than something quick and expensive. Making a handmade card, putting together a “Coupon Book” that your loved one can redeem throughout the coming year, or gathering up some photos into a framed collage are thoughtful gifts that won’t be tossed away in a few days.
3. Skip the Florist
Everyone loves getting flowers on Valentines Day, but a quick trip to the florist can drain your wallet. Save yourself a ton of money by skipping the expensive florist and buying your flowers from your grocery store or a big box retailer like Target or Trader’s Joes. A tip to keep in mind: Roses need to be kept very cold — ice cold! Outside of the range of 32-36*, roses will start to lose life with each passing minute. So skip buying them out of a bucket in the store or along the road, and look for a refrigerated flower display inside your local grocery or big box store. So long as they are kept cold, these flowers will hold up the same as if you had bought them from a florist and paid a boatload more.
4. DIY Your Kids’ Valentine’s Day Card Exchange
Every school-aged kid looks forward to that yearly classroom card exchange on Valentine’s Day, but those pre-made Valentine’s Day card kits can be pricey. Save money and keep your young ones entertained by crafting your own Valentines! A cute pun on simple card stock, tied to an inexpensive treat, will definitely be more memorable than yet another pre-made Valentine. Some of our favorites include a note that says “I’m so glad we’re in the same school!,” tied to a bag of some Goldfish crackers or “I think you’re just write!” tied to a pencil. So cute!

The Super Bowl is almost here, and millions of football fans will be hosting or attending a party to watch the big game. Save some serious cash by following these four party planning tips!
1. Make Your Own Party Trays
Pre-made party trays are one of the most marked up items you can buy for your Super Bowl party or any other event. The mark up on them is insane — sometimes over 200% more expensive than making your own party tray! A basic vegetable tray runs around $12-$15 at your local big box retailer. Buying and prepping your own veggies will cost around $3-$6, a 50%+ savings!
2. Employ the “Buffer Table Master Strategy”
Once you’ve hosted enough parties or attended enough Fourth of July cookouts, you learn a key universal truth: The stuff at the beginning of the buffet line always runs out first. Take advantage of this fact by placing your less expensive food items at the beginning of the line and your more expensive menu choices at the end.
3. Buy Alcohol from a Warehouse Club
One of my favorite money-saving tips that most people don’t know about is that you can buy your alcohol from many warehouse clubs — like Sam’s Club and some Costcos — without having a membership! The savings here can be huge, especially when you opt for store brand alcohol, such as Costco’s Kirkland label. Whether you’re hosting your own Super Bowl party or need to BYOB to someone’s else’s, take advantage of this shopping hack to save yourself a ton of money on drinks!
4. Stock Up for Game Day and Beyond
Expect to see retailers discount snack foods, soda, and frozen pizzas leading up to the big game. It’s not uncommon to see things like chips and pretzels marked down 50% or more! Take advantage of these low prices and stock up, not just for your Super Bowl party, but for all of your pizza nights and snack times in the weeks and months to follow.
Check us out discussing these party planning tips on KCTV’s Better Kansas City!
As 2019 draws to a close, it’s time to start thinking about resolutions for the new year! One of the most common resolutions that people make is to regain control of their finances and to save money in the upcoming year. Here are five things that you can do before the end of this year to set yourself up for financial success in 2020!
1. Cut the Cord
Cable and satellite subscriptions cost a bundle, and chances are, you’re not watching a majority of the channels you’re paying for. Cancelling those services can save you hundreds — and for some, even thousands — of dollars every year. Subscribe instead to one of the many online movie and TV streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu, or Sling TV. Many of these streaming services start at under $10 a month! If you are an Amazon Prime member, you already have access to thousands of shows and movies as a benefit of your membership through Amazon’s Prime Video. Plus, you can watch TV from anywhere on just about any device when you subscribe to one of these services. Cut the cord, and save yourself a ton of cash!
2. Switch Service Providers
Cable, internet, and cell phone services are expensive as it is, and their monthly bills can include some hefty fees. If your service providers are unwilling to drop or reduce things like administrative fees or modem rental fees, consider switching providers altogether. Especially if you are able to take advantage of new customer promotions, you could easily save hundreds of dollars a year by switching from one company to another.
3. Ask for Lower Credit Card Rates and Fees
A simple call to your credit card company can really pay off. According to a survey done by CreditCards.com, 84 percent of cardholders who called their credit card companies to ask for a lower interest rate, a higher credit limit, or to waive a late fee or annual fee were successful! This simple tip has the potential to save you thousands of dollars in saved interest fees alone!
4. Create a Meal Plan
Food ranks as one of the largest monthly expenses for most people. Save a ton by eating out less often. Increase your savings even more by writing out a meal plan each week and only buying what’s on your list at the grocery store. A quick Google search can provide you with hundreds a sample meal plans to choose from, including ingredients lists and detailed recipes.
5. Keep Up on Home Maintenance
A little preventative home maintenance can save you a bundle in the new year. Having your HVAC system inspected and changing its air filters can help you reduce energy costs in the coming months. Also consider patching leaky windows and door frames where the outside air can creep inside, as well as switching all of your lightbulbs to LEDs. Check with your local utility company for rebates on many of these energy efficient upgrades!
